"Pokój Stołowy" - a Play in Ochota Theatre

„Pokój stołowy” (Dinner Table) is a play depicting the modern world where the traditional values have been substituted by an incessant chase of career and a shared meal gives the feeling of loneliness and loss. Time never stands still and although customs do change, we will long for the warmth of the other person and hearth and home.
A. R. Gurney is a noble conservatist and great playwright. He managed to squeeze more than fifty characters in one play allowing only six actors to play them making this play a real feast for theatre-goers.

Mandalas - the Art of Life

Galearnia The Two of Us and LożaKobiet2006 organise a meeting devoted to an artistic form of Mandalas. The meeting "Zdrowia naszego powszedniego..."will take place this Saturday at 5 pm.


Anna Morawska, a passionate artist of mandalas, will be the host of the evening.
She will share both her passion and knowledge with the guests and invite them to experience "the magic" of this artistic form. During the meeting, one will have an opportunity to:
- learn the origin and history of mandalas;
- listen to methods of mandala creation - both the old and modern versions;
- see some of the artist's work
- discover infinite possibilities "contained" within mandalas, which can turn life into a celebration and festivity - a true Art of Life;
- take part in the creation of mandalas.
We would like to invite all those who are curious of mandala and seek a new means for expressing themselves as well as those searching for true happiness and fulfilment!

The Future of Korotyńskiego Park

We would like to present you with a modernization plan for the Korotyńskiego park. The park is situated in Rakowiec where the forts formerly stood. The aim is to clean the park and to increase its recreational value. Some parts of the fortifications of the XIX century Warsaw Stronghold have preserved and possess considerable historical and scenic value.
We would like to invite everybody to the open consultation on January 21 at 17:00 held in the primary school of Gabriela Mistral in Skorochód-Majewskiego 17 Street.

Concerts in Ochota Churches on Saturdays

Here is a treat for all those who still want to feel the Christmas glee.

"W noc betlejemską" (At the Bethlehem Night) is a concert full of carols performed by Sława Przybylska (singing), Janusz Tylman (piano), Jan Krzyżanowski (lead-in). The event will take place in the church of Annunciation (kościół Zwiastowania Pańskiego) at Gorlicka 5/7 street.
